If you’d like to get a clearer overview of your projects, we have good news for you. You can now see your items grouped into categories e.g. media/vehicle type, market segment, region/country, etc. in the timeline view.
To give a better idea of how it works, let’s take an example: I have a few marketing projects of different media type e.g. print, digital and social media. I created a calendar view some time ago to keep track of the timeline of my projects which looked like this:
But now I can have a categorized overview by having the projects grouped into different media channels which will allow me to focus more specifically.
In order to achieve this I can create a new timeline view or modify the existing view in one simple step:
- Go to Projects list configuration and add/edit a timeline type view
- Select Media Type as the Group Category
Now I can see my projects appearing in different groups along the vertical axis according to the media channels.
